Pearl Mae Lunde, 92, of Nora Springs, died on Wednesday, August 4, 1993, at Nora Springs Care Center.

Funeral services were held Friday at First United Methodist Church, Nora Springs, with Rev. M. Reth officiating. Burial was in Park Cemetery, Nora Springs.

Pearl Lunde was born on December 18, 1900, in Nora Springs, the daughter of William and Minnie (Schultz) Marshall. She married Russell Lunde on November 24, 1920, in Nora Springs. She lived her whole life within two miles north of Nora Springs until moving into Nora Springs in 1956. She then moved into the Nora Springs Care Center in 1988. She loved to work outside and do needle work. She was an active member of the Nora Springs United Methodist Church.

Survivors include one niece, Dawn Ueker and her husband, Wayne of Nora Springs; two nephews, Bill Marshall and his wife, Linda, of Nora Springs, and Howard Marshall and his wife, Bonnie, of Nora Springs; and eight grandnieces and grandnephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, in 1955; and two brothers, George and Roy Marshall.
