Services for Mabel F. Losee, 87, of Rockford, were held on Thursday, January 21, 1993, at the United Methodist Church in Rockford. Pastor Shirley Meendering officiated. Schumburg Funeral Home at Rockford was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Losee passed away at the Marian Home Care Center in Fort Dodge, Iowa, Monday January 18, 1993.

Mabel was born in Iowa Falls, Iowa, on November 2, 1905.

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Bernard (Coletta) J. Gross of Fort Dodge; three brothers: Jewell R. Losee of McIntire, Erwin F. Losee of Memphis, Tennessee, and Joseph E. Losee of Cedar Rapids; two sisters, Mrs. Wesley (Helen) Hobert of Denver, Colorado and Ruby Hetterly of McLaughlin, South Dakota; 22 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband, one son, two grandsons, one great-grandson, one brother and one sister.
