Funeral services were held on Friday, March 26, 1993, at the IC Church in Charles City, for the sister of two Marble Rock men, Andrew and Richard Frascht. Their sister, Helen Hovey, 57, of Charles City, died on Tuesday, March 23, 1993 at Mason City, Iowa. She was buried in Rose Hill Cemetery, Greene, Iowa, with Monsignor S. Hayek officiating, and Fullerton Hage Funeral Home, Charles City, in charge of arrangements

A memorial has been established in her name to the Muse Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit, Mason City.

Helen M. Hovey was born on March 1, 1936.

Survivors include three daughters: Debbie ______ of Phoenix, Arizona; Vicky Bast, Nashua; and Patsy Barragy, Clear Lake. Also surviving are her mother, Laura Frascht, Greene; and Carol Schuknect, Palm Desert, Calif.; five brothers, Andrew and Richard Frascht, both of Marble Rock; Earl Frascht, Greene; and Carl Frascht, Council Bluffs; and Paul Frascht of Grinnell; and six grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father and one sister.
