DEATH NOTICE:

Norma J. Gamble, 50, of Rockford, Iowa, died on Monday, March 22, 1993, at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Mason City, Iowa.

Funeral services will beheld at the Major Erickson Funeral Home in Mason City on Thursday at 2 p.m.

Norma J. Gamble, 50, of Rockford, Iowa, died on Monday, March 22, 1993 at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Mason City, Iowa.

Funeral services were held on Thursday, March 25, 1993, at Major Erickson Funeral Home in Mason City. Rev. R. Nielsen officiated.

Norma Gamble was born on August 6, 1942, at Thornton to John and Edith (Lorenson) Schmidt. She graduated from Thornton High School and enjoyed sports. She worked for four years in Cincinnati, Ohio, for a veterinarian, moving back to North Iowa a few years ago.

On September 31, 1988 she was married to Harold Gamble at Mason City.

Survivors include her husband, Harold Gamble, Rockford; two brothers, John Schmidt and wife, Vicki, Clear Lake, and Dick Schmidt and wife Pat, Denver Colorado; one nephew, Christian Schmidt, Mason City; several aunts and uncles; and several cousins. Also surviving are her husband's children, Scott Gamble of Manly, Jolayne Kopus of Salina, Kansas, and Dixie Gors of Sioux City.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
