ROCKFORD WOMAN DIES AT 58; RITES MONDAY

Rockford – Mrs. M. L. (Edna Mae) Berk, 58, died Thursday at the Cedar Valley Hospital, Charles City.

Born September 19, 1902, in Rock Rapids, she was married to Mitchell L Berk, December 24, 1919. She had lived here since her marriage.

Surviving are her husband, three children, Harold, Charles City; Jerry, Nashua; Betty, Mason City.

Funeral services will be Monday at 2 p.m. at the Methodist Church here. The Rev. George Baker will officiate. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.

Edna Mae Beck was born September 19, 1902 in Rock Rapids, the daughter of Frank Beck and Nellie (Brown) Beck. (parents names are from the 1925 Iowa Census)

She married Mitchell Lewis Berk, the son of Jason Berk and Sylvia Jane (Jackson) Berk.
