Theresa L. Kramer

Services for Theresa L. Kramer, 88, of Rockford, were held Monday, August 15, 1994, from the Holy Name Catholic Church in Rockford at 10:30 a.m. Burial was in St. Mary’s Cemetery at Roseville, Iowa, with Father Roger Katz officiating. There was a parish prayer service at the Schumburg Funeral Home in Rockford at 7:30 p.m. Sunday evening.

Mrs. Kramer was born February 26, 1906, at Marble Rock, Iowa, to John and Josephine (Gerhardt) Reis, and passed away at her home in Rockford Saturday, August 13, 1994.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John; brothers Lewis and Virgil; a sister, Edna; a grandson, James; and a great-granddaughter, Barbara.

Mrs. Kramer is survived by a daughter, Maxine (Mrs. John) Engels of Rockford; a son, Ronald Kramer, also of Rockford; a brother, Earl Reis, of Charles City; and sisters, Magdalen Greiner and Catharyn Greiner of Reinbeck, Iowa; 17 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.

Theresa was active in the Holy Name Catholic Church, the Hi-Neighbor club, the Rockford Sunset Generation Senior Citizens organization, the St. Theresa Church Circle, and had been a member of the Ulster Township Homemakers.
