ROCKFORD WOMAN DIES FOLLOWING STROKE – RITES SET FOR WEDNESDAY
Rockford – Funeral services for Mrs. Harold H. Hubbard, 53, will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the home in Rockford and at 2:30 p.m. at the Methodist church, the Rev. Fred A. smith of Rockford and the Rev. C. E. Luce of Waterloo officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery at Rockford.
Mrs. Hubbard died at her home here early Monday morning following a stroke. She had been ill 3 weeks.Mrs. Hubbard, formerly Madeline Johnson, was born at Rockford, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred c. Johnson, and attended high school at Rockford and a school of music at Lockhaven, PA.
She was married to Harold H. Hubbard on June 25, 1913.Besides her husband she leaves 5 daughters, Marian and Mrs. L. A. (Harriet) Hallock, Jr., Los Angeles, California; Mrs. Ernest (Corrine) Hitzhusen of Cartersville; and Donna Mae and Patricia Annette, at home; 4 grandsons, a sister, Mrs. LaMoyne J. Moore of Burbank, California, and a brother, Dwight Johnson, of Chicago.
