HOLD RITES SATURDAY FOR ROCKFORD WOMAN

Charles City – Funeral services for Mrs. Minnie M. Turner, 77, were held Saturday afternoon at the Methodist church in Rockford, the Rev. g. W. Baker, pastor, officiating. Burial at Nora Springs.

She died Wednesday at the home of a son, Everett Dale, with whom she lived near Rockford.

Survivors besides her son are two daughters; Mrs. K. O. Biddick, Charles City; and Mrs. Grover Galvin Jr., Rockford; a brother, Dale Gish, Mason City; and seven grandchildren.
The Blake Funeral Home at Rockford is in charge of arrangements.

Minnie Gish was born March 1877 in Iowa, the daughter of Richard M Gish and Helen (Smith) Gish.

She married Charles Livingston Turner, the son of John Turner and Susan (Rankin) Turner. Her husband died April 18, 1933 and was buried in the Park Cemetery, Nora Springs.
