MRS. SUSAN FRISBIE OF NORA SPRINGS BURIED; RITES HELD IN CHURCH

Nora Springs, Jan. 16 – Funeral services for Mrs. Susan Frisbie were held Monday afternoon at the Methodist Church with the Rev. J. E. De Long, officiating. Mrs. O. L. Hansen and Mrs. E. C. Moody sang “Jesus Savior Pilot Me,” and “Rock of Ages,” accompanied by Mrs. Kenneth Shanks.
Burial was in Park Cemetery beside her husband.

Mrs. Frisbie was born Susan Smith at Freeport, Illinois on January 12, 1856 and died at the home of her sister, Mrs. Sarah Shipley at Freeport, Illinois. She had been visiting relatives in Stephenson County, Illinois, since last June and became ill in September. Her husband, Samuel Frisbie, died in June 1932.

She was a member of the Methodist church.

She is survived by the following children: C. H. Frisbie, Iowa Falls; Mrs. Clarence Stoner, Nora Springs; Mrs. W. C. Batdorf, Mason City; Dr. W. H. Frisbie, Yelm, Washington; Mrs. Oscar Gratias, Nora Springs; J. C. Frisbie, Orchard; six grandchildren and one great grandchild; three brothers and three sisters.
