FORMER RESIDENT OF CHARLES CITY DIES
Charles City – Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at Carroll, with burial there, for Miss Bertha Vietor, 67, who died Friday night at the home of her sister, Mrs. Herman Von Glan, at Carroll. Death was attributed to heart trouble.
Miss Vietor lived at 610 Hildreth Street, Charles City, until about 3 years ago when ill health forced her to give up her home. At that time she went to Carroll to make her home.
Miss Vietor was born on a farm south of Charles City, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. A. U. Vietor.
Survivors include Mrs. Von Glan and one brother, Fred Vietor, Charles City.

Bertha Vietor was the daughter of Abel Ulfert and Annette (Cook) Vietor. Her mothers’ maiden name from the 1925 Iowa Census record for Bertha’s sister Gesina Von Glan.
She was buried in the Wheatland Cemetery, Carroll County, Iowa.
