MARBLE ROCK, IOWA — Ranson R. Rex, 76, lifetime resident of the Marble Rock community, died at his home here Sunday following four months' illness. He spent about 30 years of his life as a clerk in a store at Greene.

He was preceded in death by six sisters and three brothers, he being one of 14 children.

He leaves the following brothers and sisters: Charles T. Rex, Marble Rock; Clyde J. Rex, Ellsworth; Clifford B. Rex, Alamosa, California, and Mrs. Nettie Haines, Floyd;

The Funeral will probably be Wednesday afternoon at the Christian church in Marble Rock. Burial will be at Marble Rock.
