Allen D. Johnson

Funeral services have been held at Trinity Lutheran Church, Mason City, for Allen D. Johnson, 53, of Mason City, who died unexpectedly while on vacation, Wednesday, August 31, 1994, at Brainerd, Minnesota. Interment was in the Rockwell Cemetery, with Fullerton Patterson James Funeral Chapel in Mason City in charge of arrangements.

Allen was born on November 13, 1940 at Iowa Falls, the son of Glenn and Eleanor O. (Bjerke) Johnson. He graduated from the Rockwell High School in 1960.

He was an employee of S.S. Kresge’s in Waterloo. He later started as a route salesman for Pepsi, then became supervisor. At the time of his death, he was the general branch manager.

He was united in marriage to Gloria Trevett on June 14, 1964, at the Rockford United Methodist Church.

Mr. Johnson was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church, the Exchange Club and the Rockford Country Club.

His survivors, besides his wife, Gloria, include one daughter, Mrs. Heather (Terence) Boehmer; one son, Heath, all of Mason City; three sisters: Shirley Nickson of Hampton, Janet Buttjer of Rockford, and Donna (Mickey) Stewart of Alden; and two brothers, Gene of Mason City and Glenn, Jr. of Rockwell.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Gilbert.
