Graveside memorial services for Melva J. Kadous, 58, of Clarksville, were held Wednesday, September 21, 1994 at Lynwood Cemetery in Clarksville, followed by interment there. The Rev. Allen Poore-Christians officiated.

Melva Joan Kadous was born September 21, 1935 in Pipestone, Minnesota, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Henry A. Dahms. She died Saturday, September 17, 1994, at the Waverly hospital.

Following the death of her first husband, James Norton, Melva was married to William R. Kadous in April of 1956. The couple lived in Parkersburg, then moved to Clarksville, where she was a school bus driver from 1975 to 1992, when she retired due to ailing health.

Surviving besides her husband, are two sons, four daughters, two sisters and six brothers, among them, Boyd Dahms of Rudd. There are 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, two brothers and a granddaughter.
