FARM WOMAN DIES SUDDENLY
RITES TUESDAY FOR MRS. HENRY HOEFT

Charles City – Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church, for Mrs. Henry A. Hoeft, 56, who died at her farm home, 4 miles northeast of Charles City, at 1:30 Sunday morning.
The Rev. Walter M. Fritschel, pastor will officiate and interment will be in Riverside Cemetery. Friends may call at Grossmann’s. Mrs. Hoeft underwent a major operation in November 1945, and since that time has been in failing health.

Mrs. Hoeft was born Ida Amelia Hobert on March 20, 1890, the oldest daughter of Fred and Emma Hobert, in Floyd County.

On February 17, 1915, she was married to Henry A. Hoeft and to this union 2 children were born, both preceding her in death, one in infancy, and Ruth Emily at the age of 2 years and 10 months.
