RITES MONDAY AT CHARLES CITY FOR MRS. MARY HOEFT

Charles City – Funeral services will be held Monday at 2:30 p.m. at St. John Lutheran Church for Mrs. Mary Hoeft, 80, life-long resident of the Charles City area.
She died Thursday night at the Cedar Valley Hospital. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery with the Grossmann-Hage Funeral Home in charge.

Born in St. Charles Township, September 11, 1880, she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Reetz. On July 25, 1900, she was married to Emil Hoeft in Charles City. She was a member of St. Lutheran Church and the Dorcas Circle.

Survivors include a son, Raymond Hoeft, Charles City; a daughter, Mrs. William Koebrick, Charles City; six grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren; and a half brother, Carl Reetz, Fleetwood, Pennsylvania.
