CHARLES CITY, IOWA - William Wolf, 63, of Charles City, died Sunday, March 4, 2012, at Floyd County Medical Center, Charles City.

A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, March 8, at the Hauser Funeral Home, Charles City. Pastor Debra Lincoln of Jordan River will be presiding.

Visitation will be held an hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Inurnment will be at a later date in the Iowa Veterans Cemetery, Adel.

The Hauser Funeral Home, 641-228-2323, in Charles City, is in charge of arrangements.

William Wolf, age 63 of Charles City died Sunday, March 4, 2012 at Floyd County Medical Center, Charles City.

A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 8, 2012, at the Hauser Funeral Home, Charles City. Pastor Debra Lincoln of Jordan River/Colwell United Church of Christ will be presiding. Visitation will be held an hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Inurnment will be at a later date in the Iowa Veterans Cemetery, Adel.

William "Bill" Arthur Wolf was born March 29, 1948, the son of Wilbur and Mary (Pace) Wolf. He attended school in Waterloo. Bill served in the United States Army and was honorably discharged as a specialist in 1970. He worked various jobs throughout his life including John Deere until he became unable to do so. He enjoyed spending time visiting with friends, gambling, selling at flea markets, and being with his children and grandchildren.

Living family members include four children, Tammy (Chris) Bennett of St. Louis, Miss., Torrence (Christine) Wolf of Ft. Worth, Tex., Ryan Wolf of Charles City, Renita (Nick) Darrah of Waukee; two grandchildren, Olivia Darrah, Trenton Wolf. Other living family members include; Roger Wolf of Waterloo, Charles Wolf of Cedar Falls, Kathy Butler of Florida, and Joe Pace of Forest City.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
