Arnold E. Keifer, 68, of Charles City, Iowa, died on Sunday, October 23, 1994 at Heritage Care Center in Mason City.

Funeral services will be held on Friday at Trinity United Methodist Church, Charles City. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery at Rockford, with military honors condcted by the Clarksville Am Vets.

Visitation will be Thursday at Hauser Funeral Home, Charles City, and Friday until the time of service at the church.

Arnold Eugene Keifer was born on August 3, 1926 in Ulster Township, Floyd county, Iowa.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Keifer of Charles City; four sons: Dennis Keifer of Nora Springs; Alan Keifer of Kingwood, Texas; Kelvin Keifer of Clarence; and Greg Keifer, in the United States Navy at Groton, Connecticut; 12 grandchildren; one brother, Dale Keifer of Charles City; and three sisters, Opal Clifford of Nora Springs; Beulah deBuhr of Rockford; and Audrey Norman Long Beach, Calif.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his first wife.
