Donna L. Baldwin, 86, of Charles City, died Sunday, January 29, 2012, at Good Shepherd Health Center in Mason City.

Memorial services for Donna Baldwin will be held 11 a.m. Thursday at Hauser Funeral Home in Charles City. Pastor Dennis Niezwaag of Saint John Evangelical Lutheran Church will officiate. Inurnment will be at a later date,

The family will greet friends an hour prior to the service.

Donna Lorraine Springer Baldwin was born April 14, 1925, in Floyd County, the daughter of Sam and Grace (Church) Springer. She graduated from Charles City High School in 1943. On August 17, 1945, she was united in marriage to Darrell Baldwin. Over the years Donna worked at the Oliver Cooperation and as a Medication Aide at Salsbury Baptist Home. She liked animals of all kinds. Family was very important to Donna and she looked forward to sharing her life with them.

Living family members include a daughter, Sharon (Roger) McDonald of Mason City; three grandchildren, Darrell (Cecelia) McDonald, Jason (Sue) McDonald and Christian (Karen) McDonald; a granddaughter-in-law, Kristy McDonald; 14 great grandchildren; and a great great granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; grandson, Doug "Butch" McDonald; three brothers; two sisters; and special pet, Joey.
