Death: January 8, 2012

Norita Clark, 84, of Charles City, died Sunday, January 8, 2012, at the Floyd County Medical Center.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.

Norita Anna Clark was born May 14, 1927, on the family farm near Ionia, the daughter of Leo and Mary (Brown) Testroet. She attended St. Boniface Catholic School along with her eight brothers and sisters. On October 24, 1949, she was united in marriage to Robert W. Clark at Galena, Ill. The couple made their home in Cedar Rapids where Norita worked at Wilson and Co. Meat Packing Plant.

She retired after 28 years, and moved to Charles City. Norita started her second career working in Home Health Care and as a Certified Nursing Assistant. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. She enjoyed the outdoors, flower gardening, and spending time with her family.

Living family members include four children, Jim (Yvonne) Bottema of LaPorte City, Relia LaGrou of Charles City, Brian Clark of Mason City, Jackie (John Ingle) Dunlap of Marble Rock; eight grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren; two brothers, Tom Testroet of Chicago, Ill., Vince Testroet of Milwaukee, Wis.; a sister, Janice (Jack) Smith of Ankeny; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her Parents; her husband Robert in 1974; three brothers, Leon, Hubert, and James Testroet; two sisters, Mary Eikenberry and Lois Roes.
