NEW HAMPTON, IOWA — Richard E. Ratka, 77, of New Hampton, formerly of Charles City, died Wednesday (Oct. 12, 2005) at Mercy Medical Center in New Hampton.

Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Cross Evangelical Lutheran Church in Charles City. Burial will be in the Riverside Cemetery, also in Charles City.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Conway-Kolbet Funeral Home in New Hampton and one hour prior to services at the church.
