Funeral services for Sue Wagoner will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, November 23, 2011, at Trinity United Methodist Church. Pastor Jim Beranek will officiate. Inurnment will take place at a later date in Riverside Cemetery at Charles City.

Friends may call at the Hauser Funeral Home from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday at the church an hour prior to the service.

Sue Siems Wagoner was born April 26, 1919, at Kesley, the daughter of August and Ella (Block) Siems. She attended school at Sheffield. On April 17, 1941, she was united in marriage to LeRoy "Wag" Wagoner. In 1956 they moved to Charles City where Sue worked at the J.C. Penny store for 25 years. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and United Methodist Women. Other memberships includ Wildwood Ladies Golf Association, Heritage Club, Bridge Club and also served as a "Pink Lady" at Floyd County Medical Center. Her interests included playing golf and Bridge and vegetable gardening.

Living family members include a daughter Janet (Richard) Avril of Oakland, Calif.; three brothers, Dale Siems of Charles City, Delbert (Dee) Block of Cedar Rapids and Edward (JoAnne) Siems of Sheffield; and two sisters, Tilene Humphreys of Hampton and Eileen (Robert) Jewel of Sheffield.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband on November 27, 2005; four brothers and two sisters
