Services for Mrs. Edward (Evelyn) Vandeventer, 48, 105 Hart Street, who died Friday morning October 6, 1978 at her home will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Hauser Funeral Home. Rev. A.C. Wegner, Jr., pastor of the Faith Bible Chapel, will officiate. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Hauser Funeral Home after 7 p.m. Saturday and after 2 p.m. Sunday and Monday until the time of services.

Evelyn Marie Coomer was born November 15, 1929 at Charles City, the daughter of Joseph Coomer and Leona Schroeder. She was educated in the Charles City schools and married Edward Vandeventer on December 14, 1946.

Surviving is her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Tim (Katherine) Gerkins of Hayward, Calif., and Mrs. Bill (Christine) Tonn of Charles City; two sons, Edward Jr., and Charles, both of Charles City; her mother and a brother, Larry Carver of Mason City. There are four grandchildren and three step-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Eldon Coomer and twin sons.
