Paul Bistline

Funeral services were held Saturday, December 29, 1984, at the Hogan-Bremmer-Sheckler Colonial Chapel in Nora Springs for Paul D. Bistline. Mr. Bistline, 80, of Nora Springs died Wednesday, December 26, 1984 at a Nora Springs nursing home.

The Reverend Donald E. Muessingmann of the First United Methodist Church, Plymouth officiated at the service, with burial in the Evergreen Cemetery, Rudd.

Paul Bistline was born October 30, 1904 in Buda, Illinois, to Samuel and Carrie (Carper) Bistline. He attended rural Plymouth schools and married Fleta E. Tibbits on August 23, 1930 in Charles City. Mr. Bistline farmed in the Plymouth, Nora Springs and Osage areas until retiring in 1972 and moving to Nora Springs.

Survivors include his wife, Fleta; two daughters, Mrs. Harlyn (Marilyn) Gorkowski, Tucson, Arizona, and Mrs. Neil (Ardelys) Newton, Osage; two sons, Marlin, Nora Springs, and Larry, Runnells; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Earl (Ruth) Dyer, Neillsville, Wisconsin.
