CHARLES CITY, IOWA -- Allen Robel, 56, of 1114 S. Main, died Friday, July 18, 1997, at his residence.

A funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with the Rev. Stanley J. Hayek officiating. Burial will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in St. Mary's Cemetery at Palmyra, Wis.

Visitation will be held from noon to 9 p.m. Monday at Hauser Funeral Home with a parish Vigil Scriptural Wake service at 7:30 p.m. Visitation will continue at the church one hour prior to the Mass.

Allen Donald Robel was born on September 21, 1940, at Alderly, Wisconsin.

Survivors include his wife, Judy, of Charles City; one son, Steven A. Robel of Charles City; four daughters, Theresa Pfeifer of Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin, Ginger Robel of Goshen, Conn., Kristin Duroe of Adel, and Traci Bulow of Elkhorn, Wisconsin; three bothers, John Robel of Milton, Wisconsin, Dan Robel of Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin, and Tim Robel of Eaton, Colorado; four sisters, Kathy Weber of Whitewater, Wisconsin, Nancy Robel of Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin, Mary Lou Tutton and Linda Lorman both of Palmyra, Wisconsin; six grandchildren and one great-grandson.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.

The family suggests memorials be given to Heart to Home Hospice or the Immaculate Conception Educational Fund, both in Charles City.
