CHARLES CITY, IOWA - Margaret R. (Mrs. Harry) Voelker, 87, of Ninth Street Chautauqua Guest Home, and formerly of 1764 Victory Ave., rural Charles City, died Friday (July 18, 1997) at the nursing home following an extended illness.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, Main and Gilbert St., with the Rev. Dennis D. Niezwaag and the Rev. Karen Rask Behling officiating. Burial will be in the Riverside Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 1 to 9 p.m. today at the Fullerton Hage Funeral Home, 401 Blunt St., where the family will receive friends from 1 to 5 p.m. Visitation will continue one hour prior to services at the church on Monday morning.

Mrs. Voelker, the former Margaret Rose Hobert, was born October 14, 1909, in Niles Township, rural Colwell.

Survivors include her husband, Harry, of Charles City.

She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers and three sisters.

Those considering an expression of sympathy may direct memorials to St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church or Heart To Home Hospice.
