CHARLES CITY, IOWA - Cornelia "Connie" Asher, 92, of 809 Sixth Ave., died Tuesday (July 8, 1997) at the Salsbury Baptist Home.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Hauser Funeral Home, 1205 S. Main St., with the Rev. Blair Rohde-Frank, pastor of the Grace United Methodist Church of Floyd, officiating. Burial will be in the Oakwood Cemetery, Floyd.

Visitation will be held from 1 to 9 p.m. today at the Hauser Funeral Home, and from 9 a.m. until time of services on Friday.

Cornelia Harriet Crawford Asher was born Aug. 19, 1904, at Madison, Wisconsin.

She is survived by several cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son and one brother.
