Dies at New Hampton

NEW HAMPTON, IOWA — Funeral services for Mrs. Leslie H. Treat, 76, will be held at the Perry Funeral Chapel Saturday afternoon, the Reverend Oliver A. Enerson officiating.

She died at a hospital here Wednesday after a two years' illness with a heart ailment.

Survivors include five children, Odessa of Mt. Clemons, Michigan; Mrs. A.J. Benda, Chicago; Mrs. A. J. Schnurr, New Hampton, Mrs. Ed Gerber, New Hampton, and Robert, Marshalltown. She also leaves eight grandchildren and one brother, Frank Fertig of Davenport.

Her husband died in 1947.

Mrs. Treat was born in Charles City, grew to womanhood there and was married there on May 17, 1893, to Leslie H. Treat.
