Beth M. Gabel, 20, of rurual Floyd, died Saturday, December 31 following a plane crash near Floyd.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Hauser Funeral Home in Charles City. The Reverend Charlotte Mallott, pastor of Grace United Methodist Church in Floyd will officiate with burial in Oakwood Cemetery near Floyd.

Visitation begins Tuesday night at the Hauser Funeral Home.

Beth Marie Gabel was born April 21, 1963 at Charles City to Paul and Caroline (Marksberry) Gabel. She attended and graduated from Charles City High School and was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church, Floyd.

She is survived by her parents, Paul and Caroline Gabel, rural Floyd; a sister, Deb Gabel, rural Floyd; a brother, Todd Gabel, Charles City; and her paternal grandmother, Mrs. Edith Gabel, Cyprus, California.
