MRS. ROOT DIES AT CHARLES CITY
HUSBAND AND SIX CHILDREN SURVIVE PROMINENT NORTH IOWAN

Charles City -- Mrs. R. A. Roote, 73, prominent local resident, died at 1 o'clock Friday morning at Cedar Valley Hospital after an illness of several weeks of anemia and complications.

Born in Norway, she lived several yars in Orchard before coming to Charles City 25 years ago.

Surviving are her husband and six children; Mrs. Reuben Rolfing of Cincinnati; Mollie Root of New ork City; Mrs. Dale Lawrence of Charles City, Grant Root of Charles City; Sidney Root of Spencer; and Herbert Root of California. All of the children had been here during her recent illness.
