RITES OF ROOT, 79, THURSDAY
FUNERAL SERVICES TO BE CONDUCTED IN CONGO CHURCH

Charles City -- Funeral services for Rowland A. Root, 79, will be held Thursday forenoon at 11 o'clock at the Lindaman funeral home with the Rev. J. G. Morgan, pastor of the Congregational church, officiating.
Burial will be in Riverside cemetery.

Mr. Root who had been a resident of Charles City for 30 years is survived by six children; Herbert, who lives in California; Grant and Sidney Root, Molly Root; Mrs. Dale Lawrence, Charles City; and Mrs. R. C. Folfing, Cincinnati, Ohio. Mrs. Root died three years ago.
