Postmaster Died At
Nora Springs Sunday

NORA SPRINGS, IOWA - Funeral services for Henry Lucas, 56, postmaster of Nora Springs, will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Methodist church, conducted by the Rev. C.D. Boggie, pastor.

The American Legion, the Masons and the Boy Scouts, in all of which Mr. Lucas was active, will attend in a body. Mr. Lucas died Sunday morning morning from a heart attack. He was at his place of business as usual Friday and was stricken the following day. Before becoming postmaster, Mr. Lucas was in the dry goods business at Nora Springs. He formerly was in business at Ventura.

Surviving are his wife, the former Mrs. Marion Priem, whom he married on August 9, 1944, a step-daughter Doris, student at Iowa State Teachers college, Cedar Falls, his mother, Mrs. Ida Lucas of Brooten, Minnesota, and a brother Orville, of Smithland, and a sister, Mrs. Scott Green, Brooten, Minnesota.
