At Manly For
Mrs. DeGraw.

Mrs. Elizabeth DeGraw, mother of Edward DeGraw of Nora Springs, died Wednesday, July 21, after an illness of six weeks. The funeral was held at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon, July 24, at Wheelerwood church, northwest of Mason City. the Rev. W. F. Ellerbeck of Nora Springs had charge of the rites. He was assisted by the Rev. Mr. Forbes of the Wheelerwood church. The Rev. W. C. Hicks of Mason City conducted the rites at a Manly funeral home at 1:30. Burial was at Manly.

A quarter sang "Beyond The Sunset" and "God Will Take Care of You."

Mrs.DeGraw was born Hannah Elizabeth Holden, the youngest child of George and Hannah Stone Holden.

As a young woman, she attended the Nora Springs Seminary and taught four years in the schools around Manly.

On May 12, 1900 she was married to Edward Parry DeGraw at the Manly Unitarian church, of which she was a member. They went to live at the Red Mill, where they resided for 50 years.

She was superintendent of the Wheelerwood church and Sunday school for many years and was active in local organizations. She was the teacher of the "True Blue" Sunday school class of about 12 pubils for 30 or 35 years. This class attended the funeral in a body with the exception of one that was ill and another one who was unable to be present.

She is survived by two children, Grace Elizabeth and Edward Ganett; one brother, George Holden of Ft. Meade, Florida; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
