Children SurviveWilliam G. Freese, 81, died Tuesday noon, Jan. 19. He had been in failing health for a number of years and had suffered a stroke about a year ago.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 o'clock Friday afternoon, Jan. 22, at the Sheckler funeral home by the Rev. J. Ellis Webb, pastor of the Methodist church. Burial will be in Park cemetery.
Mr. Freese was born Sept. 8, 1872 at Helenville, Wisc., one of eight children -- three sons and five daughters -- of William and Maria Stroetz Freese. He was married to Ella Pippert at Nora Springs, October 23, 1902. He had been a farmer all his life.
Survivors are the widow; one daughter, Audrey Freese; one son, John Freese; and one sister, Mrs. Mary Bauer of Jefferson, Wisc. (1954)
