ROCKFORD, IOWA - Lavonne Krull, 68, of 108 Third St. N.W. in Rockford, died Friday (June 9, 2000) at the Nora Springs Care Center.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the United Methodist Church in Marble Rock.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Reid's Funeral Chapel in Marble Rock.

ROCKFORD, IOWA - LaVonne K. Krull, 68, of 108 Third St. N.W., Rockford, died Friday (June 9, 2000) at the Nora Springs Care Center, Nora Springs.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at United Methodist Church, Marble Rock, with the Rev. Rosemary Rhode Frank officiating. Burial will be in Westside Cemetery, Marble Rock.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Reid's Funeral Chapel, Marble Rock, and one hour before services at the church.

LaVonne Kathryn Ackley was born Sept. 5, 1931, in Marble Rock, a daughter of Cecil and Frances Pearl (Barr) Ackley. She received her education in the Marble Rock public schools, graduating in 1948. As a young lady she worked for Hubbard's Cupboard in Marble Rock and assisted her mother in painting and wallpapering homes in the Marble Rock area.

On January 23, 1949, she was united in marriage to Lyle Henry Krull at the United Methodist Church in Marble Rock. They first made their home in Marble Rock and later rural Marble Rock before moving to Allison to farm for two years. In 1959 they moved to rural Rockford and later moved into town in 1993. She was very family oriented-always interested in her children's and grandchildren's activities, and she enjoyed the family get togethers and picnics.

Her interest included sewing, crafts and caring for her house plants. She was a 4-H leader and a member of the Music Mothers for many years, a member of the Rebekkah Lodge and a 50-year member of the United Methodist Church, Marble Rock.

Those thankful for having shared LaVonne's life are her children and their spouses, Linda and Jerald Wrage, of Rudd, Dan Krull, of Rockford, Debra and Tom Nelson, of Nora Springs, and David and Mary Ann Krull, of Rudd; four grandchildren, Trina and her husband, Tim VonHagen, of Rockford, Brad Primrose, of Rudd, and Cassandra and Morgan Krull, of Rudd; three great-grandchildren, Orey and Elijah VonHagen, of Rockford, and Kasey Primrose, of Rudd.

She was preceded in death by her son, Dennis Krull, in 1957; and her parents.

Those planning an expression of sympathy may direct memorials to the LaVonne K. Krull Memorial Fund in care of the family at 108 Third St. N.W., Rockford, IA 50468.
