CHARLES CITY, IOWA - Leonard L. Hamm, 64, of 708 Clinton St., died Wednesday (Nov. 10, 1999) at a Rochester, Minnesota, hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Hauser Funeral Home, 1205 S. Main St., Charles City, with the Rev. Stanley J. Hayek, pastor of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, officiating. Burial will be in the Riverside Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 3 to 9 p.m. today at the Hauser Funeral Home, with the family present from 5 to 8 p.m. Visitation will continue from 9 a.m. until time of services on Saturday at the funeral home.

CHARLES CITY, IOWA -- Leonard L. Hamm, age 64, of Charles City, died on Wednesday, November 10, 1999, at a hospital in Rochester, Olmsted county, Minnesota, of natural causes.

Survivors include his wife, Irma; seven daughters, Jean Weigel, Sandra Mandt, Brenda Frahm, Sheila Ryan and Lori Novak, all of Charles City, Connie Garrison of Bremen, Alabama, and Rhonda Balkenende of Mason City; three sons, Rodney of Westbrook, Conn., Terry and Craig, both of Charles City; 28 grandchildren; and a sister, Dorothy Baldwin of Austin, Minn.; he was preceded in death by a sister; three brothers; and a grandson.

Mr. Hamm worked at Girards Greenhouse, owned and operated Charles City Cab for several years and then worked at Great Plains Lumber Yards for 14 years

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Hauser Funeral Home, with burial in Riverside Cemetery, both in Charles City; friends may call from 3 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home, with family present from 5 to 8 p.m.
