CHARLES CITY - Alton R. Hendrix, 81, formerly of 406 Sixth Ave., Charles City, died Tuesday, Oct. 26, 2010, at Cedar Health in Charles City.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 30, 2010, at Colwell United Church of Christ, 1403 Colwell Ave., in Colwell with Pastor Debra Lincoln officiating. Interment will be in Riverside, Charles City.

The family will greet relatives and friends from 4-8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 29, at Fullerton-Hage Funeral Home, 401 Blunt St. in Charles City. The visitation will continue on Saturday at the church one hour prior to the Alton's service.
