Khristina M. Riles, 19, of Colwell, died Wednesday, October 27, 2010, at her home in Charles City.

Funeral services for Khristina Riles will be held 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Saint John Evangelical Lutheran Church in Charles City. Pastor Dennis Niezwaag and Pastor David Werges will officiate. Inurnment will be at a later date

Friends may call at the Hauser Funeral Home in Charles City from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday and after 9:30 a.m. at the church on Tuesday.

Khristina Marie Riles was born May 29, 1991, in Fort Dodge, the daughter of Jeffrey Riles and Susan Martin. In 2009, she graduated from the Charles City High School. Khristina was employed at the Charles City HyVee for the last three years. Her interests included painting, art work, music, playing the violin, reading, especially Harry Potter books, Animated Graphic Novels, shopping for bargains and spending time with her friends.

Living family members include her mother, Susan (Mike) Hyland of Colwell; father, Jeff Riles of Burt; sister, Stephanie Riles of Colwell; maternal grandparents, Clayton and Doris Martin of Charles City; paternal grandmother, Lois Riles of Dakota City; grandmother, Vera Hyland of Johnston; God parents, Linn Martin of Charles City and Connie Riles of Dakota City; and many aunts; uncles; and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her great grandmother, Velma Colwell; paternal grandfather, Robert Riles; and grandfather, William Hyland.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
