PIONEER OF MITCHELL
IS BURIED AT OSAGEOSAGE, IOWA - Sept. 5, 1924 — William Gutches, a pioneer of Floyd County and for more than 30 years a resident of Osage, died at his home Wednesday evening.
The funeral was conducted at the home Thursday afternoon, tho Masonic Lodge having charge of the commitment service.
Mr. Gutches was born, 73 years ago, in Warren, Illinois. His widow and four children: Mrs. Florence Daniels [newspaper said: "Sandiels"], Chicago; Mrs. Jennie Murphy, Hudson, Colorado; Mrs. Ethel Lambkin, Riverside, California, and Roy Gutches, near Rudd, Iowa, survive.
