CHARLES CITY, IOWA — Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Thursday for Mrs. Rose Katcher, 81, a native of Floyd County. She died Monday morning at the Chautauqua Guest Home. She had been a patient at the home since Jan. 15, 1963.

She is survived by five daughters and three sons: Mrs. Norman (Leona) Hod of Northville,
Mich., Mrs. Joseph (Vera) Staudt of Marble Rock, Mrs. Irene Peterson of Minnetonka, Minn.; Curtis Katcher, Rockford; Frank Katcher, Greene; Mrs. J. L. (Delia) Button, Albuquerque, N.M.; Mrs. Oral (Winnie) Phippen of Alta Vista and Clair Katcher, Santa Ana, Calif.; 20 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

The Rev. Patrick Connolly will be celebrant of the Mass at the Immaculate Conception
Church in Charles City. The Sacred Heart Guild and parish rosary will be held at the Hauser
Funeral Home at S p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery at Roseville.
