CHARLES CITY — Maria Geremia, 95, died Saturday, Dec. 13, 1997, at the Salsbury Baptist Home.

A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Monsignor Stanley J. Hayek officiating. Burial will be Friday in Resurrection Cemetery, Los Angeles, Calif.

Friends may call at the Hauser Funeral Home from noon to 9 p.m. Tuesday where the rosary will be recited at 4:30 p.m. and a parish vigil scripture wake service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Visitation will continue Wednesday at the church an hour prior to the Mass.

Memorials may be directed to Heart to Home Hospice.

Maria Josephine Ruggieri Geremia was born Nov. 10, 1902, in Marseilles, France.

Survivors include two daughters, Geri Misselhorn, Cranston, R.I., and Marianne Griffin, Charles City; six grandchildren; one brother, J. Rocco, Cranston, R.I.; and two sisters, Constance Maksymowicz, Cranston, R.I., and Antonette Mooney, Tucson, Ariz.

She was preceded in death by her husband, three brothers and three sisters.
