CHARLES CITY, IOWA — Genevieve Sogard, 95, died Thursday (Dec. 11, 1997) at the Salsbury Baptist Home.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at First Congregational Church with the Rev. Jack Ivey officiating. Burial will be in Sunnyside Memorial Gardens.

Friends may call at the Hauser Funeral Home from noon to 9 p.m. Monday and from 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday and at the church from 12:30 p.m. until service time.

Memorials may be directed to the Shriner’s Children’s Hospital in St. Paul, Minn.

Genevieve Beoful Jackley Sogard was born Aug. 5, 1902, in Panora.

Survivors include one son, Dean Sogard, Ames; one daughter, Gene Mary Rohrberg, Torrence, Calif.; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one sister.
