Shirley Perrin

Miss Shirley Perrin, 17-year-old daughter of Mrs. Clarence Savre, passed away at the sanitarium at Oakdale early Tuesday morning, following a long illness from Tuberculosis.

Shirley had been afflicted with the trouble since a small child, but had been given the best of care and it seemed for a time as if the trouble was checked. A few months ago, however, her health began to fail, and after the spending some time here with her mother, she was taken to the hospital where she has gradually lost her strength.

Shirley's father passed away when she was a small child, and she had made her home most of the time since with her grandparents at Floyd, Mr. and Mrs. G. Rowe.

Surviving is her mother; her brothers, Austin Perrin and Wahlen Savre; her grandmother and other relatives.

She was a bright attractive girl, a high school senior, and her passing is indeed hard for her mother and relatives to bear. It was only a week ago that her grandfather died.

Funeral services were held from the A. C. Church in Floyd this afternoon, in charge of the Reverend T. P. Solem, and burial made in the Floyd Cemetery.
