CHARLES CITY, IOWA — Clarence A. Thorsen, 70, of Salsbury Baptist Home, formerly of No. 66 Cedar Terrace South, died Tuesday (Dec. 22, 1998) at the Salsbury Baptist Home.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the First Baptist Church, 105 Chapel Lane, Charles City, with the Rev. Dr. S. Todd Yeaton, officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 2 to 9 p.m. today at the Fullerton Hage Funeral Home, 401 Blunt St., with the family greeting friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Visitation will continue one hour prior to services at the church.

Clarence A. Thorsen was born Sept. 6, 1928, in Charles City.

Survivors include his mother, Dorothy Thorsen, of Charles City; and one brother, DeVon Thorsen, of Charles City.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Those considering an expression of sympathy may direct memorials to the First Baptist Church, Charles City.
