CHARLES CITY, IOWA — Dale G. Keifer, 83, of 10 Cedar Terrace S., died Sunday, Nov. 29, 1998, at the Riverside Chautauqua Guest Home, Charles City.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Grace United Methodist Church, Floyd, with the Rev. Blair Rohde-Frank officiating. Burial will take place in the Oakwood Cemetery, Floyd.

Friends may call from noon to 9 p.m. today at the Hauser Funeral Home, Charles City. The family will greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m. and a prayer service will begin at 7 p.m. today at the funeral home. Visitation will resume one hour prior to the service Wednesday at the church.

Dale George Keifer was born Nov. 21, 1915, at Nora Springs, Iowa.

He is survived by his wife, Florence, Charles City; a son, Curtis Keifer, Charles City; a daughter, Patty Palmersheim, Charles City; two sisters, Beulah deBuhr, Rockford, and Audrey Norman, Long Beach, Calif.; seven grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a grandson, a brother, and a sister.

Memorials may be directed to Grace United Methodist Church, Floyd, or the Hospice of North Iowa, Charles City Center.
