Clayton L. Hull, 73, of Charles City, died Saturday evening, June 26, 2010, at the Floyd County Medical Center in Charles City.

Funeral services for Clayton Hull will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Hauser Funeral Home in Charles City. Pastor Margaret Hutchens of First Christian Church will officiate. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Charles City.

Friends may call at Hauser Funeral Home in Charles City from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday. Visitation will continue an hour before the service at the funeral home on Wednesday.

Clayton Lucian Hull was born March 21, 1937, at Charles City, the son of Bennie B. and Clara E. (Brown) Hull. He graduated from the Charles City High School. On June 17, 1966, he was united in marriage to Linda C. Howe.

Clayton was employed at Turba Cam, Schmidt Plumbing, Wubbens Electric and Delta Diversefit. He was a member of the First Christian Church. His interests included wood working, furniture building and electrical work.

Living family members include his two children, Robert D. Hull of Dallas, Texas, and Laurie Easley of Grapevine, Texas; four grandchildren; one great grandchild; two sisters, Betty Chamberlin of Euless, Texas, and Donna Hulion of Charles City; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife on July 9, 2009; three brothers, Ronald, Joe and Wayne Hull; and two sisters, Gertrude Flugge and Dorothy Bishop.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Hospice of North Iowa, 1003 Gilbert St. Charles City, IA 50616.
