CHARLES CITY, IOWA — Albert F. "Al" Hood, 76, of 906 Seventh Ave., died Sunday, Nov. 29, 1998, at the Riverside Chautauqua Guest Home, Charles City.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, US Highway 18 and Clark Street, Charles City; Monsignor Stanley J. Hayek will celebrate the Mass. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Charles City, with graveside military honors conducted by the Charles City Ceremonial Unit.

Friends may call from noon to 9 p.m. Thursday at Fullerton Hage Funeral Home, 401 Blunt St., Charles City. A scriptural wake service will begin at 7 p.m. followed by a rosary led by the Knights of Columbus Charles City Council No. 1409 Thursday at the funeral home. Visitation will resume one hour prior to the funeral Mass at the church.

Further arrangements are incomplete at Fullerton Hage Funeral Home.

CHARLES CITY, IOWA — Albert F. "Al" Hood, 76, of 906 Seventh Ave., and formerly of Fort Dodge, died Sunday (Nov. 29, 1998) at the Riverside Chautauqua Guest Home, Charles City, following a brief illness.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, U.S. Highway 18 and Clark Street, with Monsignor Stanley J. Hayek officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, with graveside military honors conducted by the Charles City Ceremonial Unit.

Visitation will be held from noon to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Fullerton Hage Funeral Home, 401 Blunt St., with a 7 p.m. Scriptural wake service followed by a rosary led by the Knights of Columbus Charles City Council No. 1409. Visitation will continue one hour prior to services on Friday at the church.

Albert Francis Hood was born July 4, 1922, in Mallard.

Survivors include a brother, Earl Hood, of Sportsylvania, Pa.; and a sister, Dorothy Martin, of Fort Dodge.

He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, and one brother.
