CHARLES CITY, IOWA — Clyde R. Howe, 77, of 905 Eighth Street, died Sunday (April 5, 1998) at his home.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Hauser Funeral Home, Charles City. The Rev. Paul Forde, interim associate pastor of the Saint John Evangelical Lutheran Church, Charles City, will officiate. Burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery, Greene. Military honors will be conducted at graveside by the Charles City Ceremonial Unit.

Friends may call from noon to 9 p.m. Tuesday and from 9 until the service at the Hauser Funeral Home.

Clyde Raymond Howe was born June 20, 1920, in Pleasant Grove Township, Floyd County.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy of Charles City; three sons, Steven of Minneapolis, Minn., LeRoy of Maple Grove, Minn., and Paul of Phoenix, Ariz.; 11 grandchildren; and a brother, Alton Howe of Charles City.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, and a grandson.
