Rites Held for Anna Staudt, 78

Mrs. Anna Mary Staudt, 78, passed away on Friday evening, March 29th, at the Floyd County Memorial Hospital in Charles City.

She was born December 7, 1889, in Floyd County the daughter of Nicholas and Elizabeth, nee Andres, Junk.

She married John Staudt and they lived their entire life in the Marble Rock community.

Survivors include three sons, Al, of Dougherty, and Arnold and Clarence, of Marble Rock; one daughter, Mrs. Francis (Elizabeth) Wilkie, of Miami, Florida; three brothers, George Junk, of California, Nicholas Junk, of Rockford, Illinois, and Matt Junk, of Guttenburg; three sisters: Mrs. Katy Pins, of Dubuque, Mrs. Rosie Curran, of Green Island, Iowa, and Mrs. Emma Eggres, of LaCrosse, Wisconsin; fifteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held on Monday morning, April 1st, at 11:00 o'clock at St. Mary's Church at Roseville with Rev. Vincent Simon officiating. Burial was in the Roseville Cemetery. Reid's Funeral Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
