CHARLES CITY, IOWA -- Lola H. Elledge, 59, of Edgewood, (Clayton/Delaware counties), Iowa, and formerly of Charles City, died on Tuesday, May 1, 2001, at her home after a lengthy illness.

Survivors include a son, Lary of Mineral Point, Wisconsin; a daughter, Lori Elledge of Edgewood; and a brother, Roger Brown of Waterloo.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George J. and Hazel Johnson Brown; and a sister, Hazel Brown.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Edgewood Bible Church, with burial in the Hansel Cemetery, rural Garber. Friends may call from 9 a.m. until service time Thursday at the church.

Leonard Funeral Home, Edgewood, is in charge of arrangements. Ms. Elledge was a graduate of Nashua High School.
