Vern R. Lines

MASON CITY, IOWA - Vern R. Lines, 77, of 160 Sunny Circle Drive, died Monday (Feb. 26, 1996) at his home.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. today at Sunnyside Chapel, Charles City, with the Rev. Sharon Betsworth of the First United Methodist Church, Mason City, officiating. Burial will be in Sunnyside Memory Gardens, Charles City.

Visitation was held from 3 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Sunnyside Chapel.

Vern R. Lines was born August 9, 1918, in Bristow, Iowa.

Survivors include his wife, Luverne, of Mason City; one daughter, Darlene Fitzgerel of Independence, Missouri; one sister, Eula Gerritson of Charles City; two brothers, Don Lines of California and Max Lines of Odessa, Missouri; two granddaughters; and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and three brothers.
